Deja vu about Humza Yousaf's governmental "reset"
We're none the wiser about how his "wellbeing economy" differs from the one the rest of us live and work in or how it will end poverty
On Monday, I set out the tasks Humza Yousaf had to address in his personal 'programme for government”. I pointed out that the alliance with the Scottish Green Party had left him holding a significant number of awkward babies such as the Deposit Return Scheme, the Highly Protected Marine Areas policy and rent controls.
So, how did he do? Was this really a fresh start or did Humza Yousaf simply put off till tomorrow what he could be doing today?
