He's back
The Workers Party MP for Rochdale may not be in the Commons for long, but we'll certainly hear his voice. And not just on Gaza.
“This one’s for Gaza”, said George Galloway last night laying in to the Labour leader, Keir Starmer for his “complicity” in genocide. Labour are confident he’ll be defeated at the general election later this year. They’re probably right, though Galloway has form here too having won a general election contest as a Respect MP twenty years ago. In the meantime, the nation will be entertained by Galloway’s righteous sniping at Keir Starmer. And not just on Gaza. The new MP for Rochdale may be of the left, but he is anything but “woke”. So just what will he do with his hundred days?
