If Police Scotland is institutionally racist doesn't that make Sir Iain Livingstone the racist in chief?
The retiring chief constable has brought a ton of trouble to the force by labelling it racist, sexist, homophobic and misogynist. Why didn't he notice before?
Nice one Sir Iain. As he departs for a comfortable retirement the chief constable of Police Scotland, Sir Iain Livingstone, has dismayed police officers on the beat, and placed a bomb under his successor, by announcing that the 23,000 strong force is “institutionally racist, sexist, misogynistic and discriminatory”. Livingstone insists that this “does not mean individual police officers are racist”. This makes no logical sense. What is an institution if it is not composed of individuals?
