Divisions over antisemitism are only the start of Labour’s woes

Labour is almost certain to be in government in six months time but already it is falling apart. In fact falling is too small a word for it.  Keir Starmer is sitting on the party political equivalent of an earthquake. The rows over election candidates having to be disowned for antisemitic remarks are only the early tremors of a potentially earth-shaking revolt of the Labour backbench. Sir Keir has ridden roughshod over his party’s socialist ideals and conducted more u-turns on the environment than Jeremy Clarkson. There are already enough potential dissident MPs to immobilise the first Labour government in 14 years. Let’s do the math..:
