Watch the news carefully if Musk ever flees to Mexico. He might end up emulating Trotsky one final time while there.

Interesting take. The far left advocated many of the things Trump is doing your right. It's the anti immigration anti trans thing that is most objectionable about trump. Tariffs are not if used appropriately a bad thing. Trumps bypassing of protocol is like a whirlwind. It's deliberately so fast media can't keep up with it good and bad. It's showing limitations of modern media and parliament in America. I however don't want trump to dominate domestic agenda here for next 4 years. Media will have to adapt to his constant executive orders some as negotiating strategy.

There is an overlap with the Corbynite left, though they would hate to admit it, and not just in building a siege economy behind protectionist walls. Trump seems serious about ending the bloodshed in Ukraine, which Stop the War has been calling for. Trump has also turned the Republicans into a populist party with a strong working class orientation. The Republican convention in July was addressed for the first time ever by boss of the Teamsters Union who gave a devastating critique of corporate power and globalisation.
